PLI is pursuing a vision to train pastors, spouses, and key leaders to put the extraordinary mission of God into the hands of ordinary people.
The Church requires pastoral leaders, spouses and church leaders who are effective, healthy, confident and competent to meet its mission to reach the lost, the disconnected, and the disenchanted of every age and generation.
We spent an afternoon with what I would call a "Church Observer/Researcher" a few weeks ago. He has a broad view of the Christian Church in the United States, and he spots trends and patterns that most of the rest of us live in but don't always see.

Whether you're a lay leader, a pastor or a spouse, my guess is that this is good news...and bad news! Good news in that it affirms what you know. Bad news: it's reality. And that reality gets more harsh when we look at the established church's inability to engage younger generations with the Gospel of Christ.
