LCMS Pastors and Spouses
PLI is specifically designed to provide LCMS pastors and their wives with the opportunity to develop courage, attitude and skills to enhance their leadership effectiveness in the congregations they serve now, and those God may call them to serve in the future.
PLI is Congregation Based
PLI does not have a campus. It utilizes key congregations around the USA, plus expert staff nationwide in a variety of settings to nurture pastoral leaders committed to lead LCMS congregations in connecting people to Jesus. It provides practical training by using more experienced pastors as mentors. It is congregational based. The pastors’ wives learn alongside their husbands as partners to their husbands. And, PLI provides both an International and a multiethnic exposure to all participants.
Are You Interested?
Those interested in enrolling may seek to be nominated by their district president or by two other pastors. Current participants in PLI may also nominate. PLI staff will also seek to answer questions.
