PLI is honored you would consider us as a leadership training partner in your ministry and you are taking the time to apply.

Special Note: Because 2009 is the year of LCMS district conventions, PLI’s entry class conference will take place in April instead of June. Thank you!

Here is the checklist of what should be included in your submission:

From the Pastor:

1) Two letters of recommendation. These may come from leaders in your congregation or other pastors. Please do not use your district president. The letters may be sent directly to us from those who are writing the recommendations.

2) A copy of the applications submitted via the web:
A. Candidate Pastor Form

B. Church and Community

3) A letter of endorsement from you to support your wife’s participation in PLI, if she wishes to apply.

4) Digital pictures of you and your wife (if married) and your church (either inside or outside).

From the Partner:
1) A letter of endorsement from you to support the pastor’s participation in PLI.

2) A copy of the Candidate Partner form submitted via the web.

1) A completed Congregation Support Authorization Form mailed or faxed to the PLI Office
