Support and Accountability

Collegial Group Support and Accountability

All PLI participants are placed in collegial groups of six or seven members. For all four years, these collegial groups serve as learning pods during conferences.

In these groups PLI pastors also attend twice-a-year events at mentoring congregations, hold each other accountable for ministries they design for their own congregations, and offer prayer and encouragement for one another

Rev. Marty Brauer
Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Santa Clarita, Calif.

“Wanting the reminder that PLI is about so much more than just individual pastors serving God in their own individual parishes, we’ve replaced the ‘I’ with ‘US.’ That’s what PLI is really all about.

It’s not about any ONE individual ‘going it alone.’ It’s about US, in God’s power and by His grace, working and leading and serving together.

That’s what makes PLI work! That’s what makes PLI healthy! That’s what makes PLI a PLUS for ministry!”
